Lifepoint's Missions Team
Meet our Missions team
At Lifepoint, we are blessed to have a missions team deeply connected to the mission field. Our team members bring firsthand experience in both short-term and long-term missions, working alongside ministries locally and globally. This incredible depth of experience, knowledge, and connections allows us to serve and support missionaries in meaningful ways.
Our missions team officially launched in September of 2024, with the goal of building a strong foundation for how Lifepoint supports missionaries and ministries. We’ve developed an application and vetting process to ensure that those we partner with align with Lifepoint’s 10 core values and our mission: Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples. After reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and learning more about the mission, values, and needs of each applicant, our team will make recommendations for support to Lifepoint’s board and leadership team for approval.
Many of the missionaries and ministries we support have personal connections to our church through our members. We believe these relationships are key to effective support, helping us stay engaged in their work and pray for them intentionally. To keep our congregation connected, we’ll provide updates through newsletters and church announcements, so you can see how Lifepoint is making an impact both locally and globally.
Through Lifepoint’s support, missionaries are empowered to continue their life-changing work—whether providing essential medical care in remote areas, translating and distributing scripture, or serving vulnerable communities with the love of Christ. Our partnership equips them with the resources they need to reach those who might otherwise be forgotten, bringing hope, healing, and spiritual growth.
Prayer is the most powerful way we can support our missionaries. We invite you to be part of this mission—whether through prayer, hosting missionaries when they visit, or engaging in opportunities to serve both locally and abroad. Keep an eye on our Lifepoint weekly email for ways to get involved. Together, we can make a difference and ensure the love of Christ reaches the ends of the earth!
